Pledge Manager Surveys

Over 90% of BackerKit surveys have been completed - thank you!

Production Update

On the production side, not much has changed since the update one month ago.

Every item from the campaign has already been fully produced with one exception – the comic books.

Issue 4 is currently in progress as the art team completes the interior pages, and those will go to print as fast as the art team can wrap up their amazing work.

It’s been just short of two months since the campaign wrapped, and we’ve got a few updates to share as things continue moving forward.

First, a quick note on surveys.

The pay-over-time option was new for us this campaign, and for many of you as well. Because of how it works, BackerKit does not send out pledge manager surveys until the final payment is completed. A number of those final payments have just recently gone through this week.

If that applies to you, keep an eye on your inbox – your survey should now be on the way.

If your Kickstarter payment failed but you still want your rewards, you can also complete your pledge directly through that same BackerKit link.

Production Update

On the production side, we’re in a strong position.

Every item from the campaign has been fully produced with one exception – the comic books.

Issues 3 and 4 are currently in progress as the art team completes the interior pages. They’re moving quickly, and the quality has been outstanding. We’ve been reviewing pages as they come in and are genuinely blown away by how they’re turning out.

We'll include photos of a few finished items below.

BackerKit Surveys Going Out

Make sure to check your email, including your spam folder, for your BackerKit Survey this week. It will be delivered to the email address you used to back the Kickstarter campaign.

This Pledge Manager service is how we will collect your shipping address and where backers pay for shipping. This is also where backers can add-on any additional items missed from the campaign.

First, we'll start with a 'Smoke Test'.

What is a Smoke Test?

A smoke test sends surveys to 5% of backers from every pledge level in the campaign.
It’s a simple way to catch any errors in the surveys and make sure everything runs smoothly.
It allows us time to fix anything we find before surveys are sent to everyone else.

Failure to Complete Survey

If a backer fails to complete a survey or pay for shipping, we are unable to ship the pledge items at the time of fulfillment. We won't know where to send the package if information is incomplete, and we'll be unable to print a shipping label if shipping is not paid for.

What if my payment failed on Kickstarter?

If payment was unresolved on Kickstarter, backers can finish the payment on BackerKit to still receive their pledge.

What if I chose the pay over time option on Kickstarter?

Backers will not be able to complete a BackerKit survey until the last payment has processed and been completed.

What if I don't receive my survey?

If you believe you did not receive your survey, or lose it, you can find it here. It is also possible you are using a private relay apple id and will not receive any email updates - if this is you, you'll need to follow the provided link to find your survey.

Payment Processing

You should have been charged already by Kickstarter. Please check to see that your payment has processed - if you do not see it, there may have been an issue. If there were any issues with the payment and/or your card on file, you will receive communication via email (the one you use for Kickstarter account) from Kickstarter directly.

Kickstarter will attempt to resolve any payment issues for a few more days. Some charges are flagged by banks and card companies as potentially fraudulent and payments do not go through. If you need assistance please contact Kickstarter Customer Service, as our team does not have access to your payments. If you are unable to get it resolved with them, please contact us so we are aware.

BackerKit

In the coming weeks you will begin receiving Survey emails from BackerKit, our campaign management service. This is how you will confirm your pledge, input your shipping information, pay for shipping, select options if applicable (sizes), and have a chance to select more items. We will let you know when these emails begin going out so that you are looking out for them.

FINAL 24-HOUR BONANZA

We’ve crossed $50,000, and we’re into the final 24 hours of the campaign!

To celebrate the finish line and give everyone a reason to jump in or upgrade their selections, we’re unlocking new stretch goals every $1,000 and introducing new add-ons. We’re also moving some items that were previously locked at much higher funding levels down to more reachable levels as we close.
